Few months ago I also tried the same thing to get a "nam jari" paper from "Rajuk" for my in-laws. I tried for about 3/4 months to get it out without bribing, I tried so hard like sitting in a place where no woman can be seen, going to meet the high officials of Rajuk, nothing happened. So losing hope that I may be able to do something my mother-in-law went there and bribed the dalal and got the "nam jari" paper :-)<br>So you see even if some of us want to change the way things are, the system will not let you. The more late we were to get the paper the more municipility tax was fixed for us. So what can we do? So my mother in-law had to take the shortcut way. It was nice reading your blog.
