গবেষনার কাজের জন্য আমাকে প্রায়ই বিভিন্ন ধরনের যন্ত্রপাতি নিয়ন্ত্রন করা ও তথ্য সংগ্রহ করার জন্য প্রোগ্রামিং এর কাজ করতে হয়। প্রথম দিকে সি পোগ্রামিং ভাষা ব্যবহার করলেও পরবরর্তিতে নতুন নতুন যন্ত্রপাতি দিয়ে দ্রুত কাজ করা বেশ কঠিন হয়ে পড়ে। সহজে ও দ্রুত পোগ্রাম করা যাবে এমন সিস্টেমের জন্য খোঁজ করছিলাম। আমেরিকায় থাকার সময় ল্যাবভিউ নামে একটি সলিউশনের নিয়ে কাজ করার সুযোগ হলো। এরপর যন্ত্রপাতির অটোমেশনের জন্য ল্যাবভিউ আমি প্রচুর ব্যবহার করছি। ল্যাবভিউ একধরনের গ্রাফিক্স প্রোগ্রামিং। মনে করা যাক আপনি সি প্রোগ্রামিং ভাষায় লিখছেন, আপনাকে পর্যায়ক্রমে প্রোগ্রাম করতে হবে। কিন্তু ল্যাবভিউতে সেরকম ভাবে কোড না লিখে বিভিন্ন আইকন ও ফ্লোচার্টের মাধ্যমে প্রোগ্রাম লিখতে হয়। তাই যারা প্রোগ্রামিং করতে ভয় পান ও জটিল মনে করেন, তারা ল্যাবভিউ ব্যবহার করে মজা পাবেন। ছেলেবালায় হয়তো লেগো নিয়ে খেলা করেছেন। বিভিন্ন অংশ বিশেষ দিয়ে মনে মতন ইচ্ছেমত জিনিসপত্র তৈরী করা যায় এই লেগো দিয়ে। ল্যাবভিউ তেমনি লেগোর মতন একটি প্রোগ্রামিং ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ। বিভিন্ন আইকন দিয়ে আপনি ইচ্ছেমত প্রোগ্রামিং করতে পারবেন। আমি দেখেছি যারা কখনও কম্পিউটার নিয়ে কাজ করেনি, তারাও খুব সহজে এটি দিয়ে গ্রোগ্রাম করতে পারছে। আমরা মানুষেরা যেভাবে চিন্তা করি ও পর্যবেক্ষন করি বা visualizaiton করি, তেমনভাবেই ল্যাবভিউ দিয়ে প্রোগ্রাম তৈরী করা যায়। আর কোন যন্ত্রকে নিয়ন্ত্রন কিংবা তার থেকে তথ্য সংগ্রহ করা – যাকে আমরা data acquisition বলি তা ল্যাবভিউ দিয়ে খুব সহজেই করা যায়। যন্ত্রপাতি কম্পিউটারে সংযোগ করার পরে ড্রাইভার জাতিয় সমস্যাগুলি ল্যাবভিউ খুব সহজে সমাধান করে। ল্যাবভিউ হল সফটওয়্যার, কিন্তু কম্পিউটার দিয়ে সুইচ, এনালড কিংবা ডিজিটাল তথ্য ইনপুট-আউটপুট করার জন্য আপনার প্রয়োজন হবে কোন একটি হার্ডওয়্যারের। আমি ছোট খাট কাজে LabJack যা কম্পিউটারের USB দিয়েই সংযোগ করা যায়, তা ব্যবহার করি।
তবে সমস্যা হল ল্যাবভিউ একটি বাণিজ্যিক সফটওয়ার এবং এর লাইসেন্স ফি অনেক। যারা কম খরচের কিংবা ওপেনসোর্সের কোন সমাধান চান তাদেরকে পরিচয় করিয়ে দিব পাইথনের সাথে। পাইথন একটি অপেনসোর্স প্রোগ্রামিং ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ। যদিও পাইথন এর ইন্টারফেস ল্যাবভিউ এর মতন নয়। তারপরেও পাইথন ব্যবহারের সংখ্যা দিন দিন বাড়ছে।

ঈদে বাংলাদেশীদের সাথে বসে আড্ডা মারছিলাম, সেখানে একজন সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ার এর সাথে পরিচয় হল, যিনি সিঙ্গাপুর ও দুবাইতে কাজ করেছেন। কথা প্রসঙ্গে এই দুটি দেশ সমন্ধে আলোচনা হচ্ছিল।
তিনি বলছিলেন, অনেক আগেই ৭০ এর পর থেকেই সিঙ্গাপুর বিভিন্ন জাতির মানুষের সমন্বয়ে গড়ে উঠেছে। এই গড়ে উঠার পিছনে কারণ হল, সিঙ্গাপুর হল বন্দর শহর। শত বছর আগেই বিভিন্ন দেশে থেকে এই বন্দরে মানুষের আনাগোনা হয়েছে জীবন ও জীবিকার কারণ। সিঙ্গাপুরের মূল জনগন বেশ স্বাগত জানিয়েছে অন্য জাতের মানুষজনকে। সিঙ্গাপুরের জনগণ যাদের বেশীর ভাগের অংশই হল চিন বংশদ্ভুত, তারা ইংরেজী ভাষাকে দ্বিতীয় ভাষা হিসাবে গ্রহণ করেছে। কেননা সিঙ্গাপুরের জনগন ও বিদেশের সাথে যোগাযোগের জন্য ইংরেজীই একমাত্র ভাষা। তাদের সন্তানরা ইংরেজী ভাষাতেই কথা বলছে। কেউ ইংরেজীকে প্রথম ভাষা ও চীন ভাষাকে দ্বিতীয় ভাষা আবার কেউ চীন ভাষাকে প্রথম ভাষা ও ইংরেজী ভাষাকে দ্বিতীয় ভাষা হিসাবে গ্রহণ করেছে। এই মনভাবের কারণেই সিঙ্গাপুর একটি অদ্বিতীয় স্থান হিসাবে গড়ে উঠেছে যা বিশ্বের আর কোথাও পাওয়া যাবেনা। অপরদিকে দুবাই অনেকটা সিঙ্গাপুরের মডেলকে গ্রহণ করছে, তারাও চেষ্টা করছে মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের ব্যবসার Hub হিসাবে গড়ে উঠতে। আর এই চেষ্টা বেশি ৮০ এর পরে দেখা যায়। তবে ৯০ এর পরে খুব উঠে পড়ে লাগে এটিকে সফল করার জন্য। বিভিন্ন দেশের লোকজনের সমাগম হতে থাকে, কিন্তু মূল জনগন যেহেতু ইংরেজী ভাষা থেকে দূরে এবং তাদের শিক্ষার হার মারাত্মক রকমের কম তাই তারা সিঙ্গাপুরের মত গড়ে উঠেনি। বিভিন্ন দেশের পরামর্শকারিদের নিয়ে বেশীদূর যেতে পারছেনা।
ভবিষ্যতের সময়ই বলবে দুবাই কতটা সার্থক হবে।
মাঝে মাঝে মনে হয় এই যে বিজ্ঞান এতদূর এগিয়ে গেছে এর কোন কি মানে হয়? গত এক শত বছরে মানুষ বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তিকে খুব ভয়ংকর রকমের দ্রুততার সাথে সামনে নিয়ে গিয়েছে। আমার মনে হয় এত দ্রুত পরিবর্তনের পিছনে মূলত দুই-দুইটি বিশ্বযুদ্ধ প্রভাবে ফেলেছে। বিশ্বযুদ্ধের ক্ষতিকর প্রভাবে আমরা শহর, বন্দর ও জনপথই যে হারিয়েছি তা নয়, সেই সাথে বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি ভয়ংকর রকমের অগ্রগতি হয়েছে। বিভিন্ন জাতিদের মধ্যে প্রতিযোগীতার কারণেই বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি এর বিকাশ হচ্ছে। এই প্রতিযোগীতা কিন্তু এখনও থেমে থাকেনি। প্রতিটি দেশই চেষ্টা করছে সামনের প্রযুক্তিগত যুদ্ধে যেন তারা পিছিয়ে না পরে। এখন শুধু মাত্র বিজ্ঞানের অগ্রগতি ও কল্যানের জন্যই বিজ্ঞানীরা কাজ করেনা। বিজ্ঞানীরা তার বিষয়ে কাজ করে, অগ্রগামী থেকে, পেটেন্ট তুলে সেটিকে ব্যবসাতে কিভাবে রূপান্তর করা যায় সেই দিকেই মনযোগ বেশী।
বিজ্ঞানেই এই বিশাল অগ্রগতী দেখে মাঝে মাঝে আমার খুব ভয় হয়, আমরা মনে হয় সেই ফ্রাঙ্কেস্টাইনের মত কিছু তৈরী করে ফেলছি নইতো। আমার যে বিষয়ে কাজ করে, ন্যানোপ্রযুক্তির কথাই ধরুন। আমরা ন্যানোপ্রযুক্তি ব্যবহার করে এমন জিনিসপত্র তৈরী করছি যে, যার গুনাগুন আমরা নিজেরাই জানিনা। কিন্তু সেই সব জিনিসপত্রগুলি বাণিজ্যিক-করণ হচ্ছে। সেদিনে দেখি শ্যাম্পু এর বিজ্ঞাপন হচ্ছে, ন্যানোকণা বা Nano Particles ব্যবহার করে। ভঙংকর হল, এই ন্যানোকণা যে আসলেই নিরাপদ কিনা তা আমরা নিজেরাই জানিনা। ন্যানোকনাগুলি এতই ছোট আকারের যে তা ত্বক কে ভেদ করে আরো শরীরের অনেক গভীর ঢুকে যেতে পারে। এমন কি আমাদের কিডনি যা রক্তকে বিশুদ্ধ করার জন্য কাজ করে, সেটিও ন্যানোকণাকে ফিল্টার বা পরিষ্কার করে শরীর থেকে বের করে ফেলতে পারেন।
আমরা রসায়ন ব্যবহার করে নিত্যনতুন অনেক পণ্য তৈরী করছি, কিন্তু সেই সব পণ্যের নিরাপত্তা নিয়ে আমরা অনেকেই জানিনা। হয়তো সেগুলিকে নিয়ে বছর খানেক গবেষনা হয়েছে। তারপরেই মোটামুটি নিরাপদ ফলাফল পাওয়া গেছে। কিন্তু অনেক বিষাক্ত কণা রয়েছে যা বেশ কয়েকবছর ঘুমন্ত থাকতে পারে এবং তারপরেই তার আসল রূপ ধারণ করতে পারে। আমরা অনেক সময়ই নিজেদের অজান্তে সেগুলি ব্যবহার করছি। আমরা গরম পাণীয় খাবার জন্য যে সমস্ত প্লাস্টিকের কাপ ব্যবহার করি, সেগুলি কথাই ধরা যাক। গরম পানির প্রচন্ড তাপে সেই প্লাস্টিকগুলি গলে পাণীয় এর সাথে মিশে যাচ্ছে এবং সেইগুলি আমরা খাচ্ছি। আমরা নিজেদের শরীরে এই সমস্ত অজানা রাসয়নিক কণা ঢুকাচ্ছি। জাপানে এই ধরনের অজানা কণাগুলিকে Environmental Hormon নাম দিয়েছিল এবং এগুলির ব্যবহার বন্ধের জন্য সামাজিক আন্দোলন গড়ে তুলেছিল। সমস্যা হল এই সমস্ত পণ্য যারা তৈরী করছে ও বিপনন করছে, তারা বলছে তারা যথেষ্ট গবেষনা করেই এই পণ্যগুলি বিপনন করছে। আর গরণ পানীয় এর সাথে কণা যাবার কথা আন্দোলনকারীরা তুলছে, সেই ব্যাপারে প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলি বলছে, তা এত কম মাত্রার যে আমরা সেগুরি Ignore করতে পারি। তবে বিপদের কথা হল বছরের পর বছরে সেই সমস্ত প্লাস্টিক ব্যবহার করলে তার যে কিরকম বিরূপ প্রতিক্রিয়া হবে তা কিন্তু গবেষনা করতে দিচ্ছে না।
এবার বাংলাদেশের দিকে তাকান যাক। একদিন বাংলাদেশের সরকারী গবেষনা প্রতিষ্ঠানের বিজ্ঞানীর সাথে কথা হচ্ছিল। একদিন তাদের গবেষনাগারে বাংলাদেশের বাণিজ্যিক সরিষা তেলগুলির উপর গবেষনা করছিলেন। তারা বাজার থেকে প্রচলিত (যেগুলির বিজ্ঞাপন আপনারা টিভিতে সবসময় দেখছেন) সরিষা তেলগুলি তাদের গবেষনাগারে পরীক্ষা করে দেখছিলেন সেখানে তেলের পরিমাণ কতটুকু। মারাত্মক ফলাফল তারা পেলেন। বাজারে যে সমস্ত সরিষার তেল বিক্রি হয় তার কোনটিতেই সরিষার তেলের কোন নামগন্ধ পেলেননা। সবগুলিতেই তার পরিমান হল ১% এর থেকেও কম। তবে সেগুলি কি? তার উত্তরে উনি বলছিলেন, সেগুলি রাসয়নিক কৃত্রিম পদার্থ যার সাথে সরিষার essence মিশান থাকে।
কথা বলছিলাম বিজ্ঞানের অগ্রগতি নিয়ে। মাঝে মাঝে আমার মনে হয় ১৮০০ এর আগে মানুষই মনে হয় ভালো ছিল, জীবন ছিল সাদামাটা। আর কিছু না হোক অজানা রাসয়নিক পদার্থ জীবনযাত্রার সাথে মিশে ছিলনা, ছিলনা তেজস্ক্রিয়তার মত ভয়ংকর কিছু। আমরা আমাদের প্রয়োজনে অনেক কিছু তৈরী করছি যা আমাদের প্রয়োজন মিটাচ্ছে বটে তবে অনেক অজানা বিপত্তিও ঘটাচ্ছে যা আমরা এখন জানছিনা। অদূর ভবিষ্যতে জানব হয়তো।

গতবছর ethnobotanybd.com সাইটটি দেখে সত্যিই মুগ্ধ হয়েছিলাম। কোন প্রতিদান না চেয়ে, শুধু মাত্র কাজ করার নেশাকে কাজে লাগিয়ে সালাইদ্দিন এই সাইটে বাংলাদেশের গাছ গাছালির একটি ডাটাবেস তৈরী করছে। বাংলাদেশের গাছ নিয়ে গবেষনা করছে এমন প্রতিষ্ঠানের সংখ্যা কম নয়। তারা ভালো অর্থ পেয়ে বিভিন্ন ধরনের গবেষনা করছে। তবে তারা যা পারেনি, সালাউদ্দিন সেটি একাই করে দেখিয়েছে যে তা সম্ভব। একদিন বাসার কাছেই একটি কফিশপে দুজন মিলে আড্ডা িদলাম। সত্যিই অবাক হলাম এই ছেলেটি একা একা কাজ করছে, কারো কাছ থেকে কোন সাহায্য িকংবা গাইডলাইন না পেয়েই। এমন স্বপ্ন ময় ছেলেদের দেখলে মনটাই ভাল হয়ে যায়। বিজ্ঞানী.org এর জন্য সাক্ষাতকার চেয়ে পাঠালে খুব দ্রুত উত্তর দিল। আমাদের দেশে এমন ছেলেই দরকার কথায় না বড় হয়ে কাজে বড় হবে। আমি সালাহউদ্দিন ও তার উদ্দ্যোগের সাফাল্য কামনা করি। আশা করি তার সাক্ষাতকারটি আমাদের নবীন বিজ্ঞানীদের আরো উৎসাহ দিবে।
বেশ দীর্ঘদিনের বিরতির পরেই লিখতে বসলাম।
ছেলেবেলায় কখনই মনে হয়নি লেখালেখি করব। কালে ভাদ্রে বাবা-কে দেখতাম লিখতে। আমার বাবা রাজশাহী সমিতি ও রসায়ন সমিতির সাথে যুক্ত ছিলেন। আর এই দুটি সমিতি থেকে প্রকাশিত পত্রিকাগুলিতে তিনি অনিয়মিত ভাবে লিখতেন। তবে মনে হয় সমিতির পক্ষ থেকে সবার চাপেই লিখতেন। অনেকদিন পরে হটাৎ বাবার কিছু লেখা পেলাম, এবং বেশ অবাক হলাম আমার আর বাবার বিজ্ঞানের প্রবন্ধগুলি লেখার কৌশল একদমই একই রকম। কেউ যদি আমাদের দুজনের প্রবন্ধ পড়েন, তবে ভাবতে পারেন যে হয়তো একই লেখকই দুটি লিখেছেন। এইরকম অদ্ভূত মিল কিভাবে হলো তা জানি না। আমার বাবার লেখাগুলি আমার কখনই পড়া হয়নি। কিংবা হয়তো পড়েছি আমি মনে করতে পারছিনা এবং নিজের অজান্তেই সেই স্টাইলটি আমি মেনে চলেছি আমার লেখার মধ্যে।
আমি কেন লিখি? আমার লেখাগুলি পাঠক মহলে খুবই সমাদৃত হবে এবং তা হৈ চৈ ফেলে দিবে তেমন কখনই মনে হয়না। এই ব্লগ ছাড়া আমার লেখা মূলত বিজ্ঞানের প্রবন্ধ, বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন পত্রিকাগুলিতে কিংবা বিজ্ঞানী.org সাইটে। সেই সমস্ত লেখা মোাটামুটি কাটখোট্ট ধরনের। নিরস লেখা বলা যায়। যারা বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি ভালোবাসে তারা হয়তো তাতে আনন্দ খুজে পেতে পারে কিন্তু সাধারণ পাঠক (কিভাবে সাধারণ পাঠককে সজ্ঞায়িত করব?) তাতে রস খুজে যে পাবেননা তা দিব্যি বলা যায়। তবে লিখি কেন? সেটাই বসে বসে ভাবছিলাম। আসলে আমি মনে হয় লিখি আমার মনের তাড়নায়। লিখার পড়ে একটি সৃষ্টি করার আনন্দ আমাকে আপ্লুত করে রাখে। যেহেতু বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি আমার পেশা তাই পেশাগত কারণে অনেক নতুন নতুন ভাবনা ও তথ্য এর সাথে পরিচিত হয় আমার আর তাই সেই নতুন জানা তথ্যগুলিই পাঠকদের সাথে শেয়ার করি।

In my second letter I will describe you about an important thing: the goal of your life. When you born, you were gifted with a healthy body and sole. You came to the world with a life. Now it is your duty, how to utilize it for which purpose? The difficult thing is, it is really challenging for us to understand what should we do in our life? Is the goal of our life is to make money and become a rich man? or is it to become a politician, engineer or doctor? You need to find your answer in your life. I am not sure when you will read this letter. But any time is good time to re-define the goal of your life. You are living in a society and the rules of that society is not made by you. Over the years man made those rules. But you are the architect of your life. You will decide what you will do with your life. Nobody will tell you this is your goal and you should do it. It is you, who should decide about your life. May be you will find some obstacles, but the goal of your life is decided by you, only you.
I will suggest you to find your goal as quickly as possible. In a certain time, you may find your goal and started to work in that track. But after working for a few years, you may change your mind and may be try new different things, a new track. Don’t worry, there is nothing wrong with you. Our life is a kind of learning process and you will learn over the time. But all the time, think about what you want to do with your life. Project yourself to see after 20 or 50 years from your time. Try to find which position and goal will make your comfortable and happy. When you imagine yourself in that position, try to find why are you considering that goal will be good for you? Try to find those reasons also. Your next work will be to fix that goal and then work for it. Of course you need to do a lot of struggle to achieve that goal.
Here is my experience that I like to share with you. My PhD mentor, Professor Urisu told me a Japanese Haiku (short poem) that he learned from his boss.
“Kore wo Siru Monoha Kore wo Konomu mono ni Sigazu, Kore wo konomu mono ha kore wo tanosimu mono ni sigazu”
これを知るものはこれを好む者に如かず
これを好むものはこれを楽しむ者に如かず。
Although it is difficult for me to exactly translate it to English, I will translate in this way.
“Those who like to learn, will defeat by them who make it hobby.
Those who make it hobby, will defeat by them who enjoy it.”
The inner meaning is, we need to enjoy a work to succeed in it. Although he said it on the context of research areas, I found it is true for life too. When I was in 5 grade, I need to write an assay of “aim in life”. At that time, we usually write assay on becoming doctor or engineer as our aim. But over the years I have found that it is not so easy to really find the aim of life. The aim of life is not a profession, the aim of life is to find a passion. If you read the story of successful man, you will find that they also explored a lot to really find their goal. May be an event, knowing a person, book, assay will give you hint about your aim. But you need to be prepare to accept it, and need to be in search of your goal and aim. I have seen many ordinary people, they spent most of their life without knowing their aim.
May dear son, please explore and do experiment with you life to really find a good answer for you. It is very important to explore the opportunities. Try to be open minded, and positive to find your goal. When you are in search of your goal, do not ask someone to fix your goal. I am not sure when you can read this letter. Still both of you are too young to read. (Mashrafi is now 2 years and Mehrab is 3 years and 9 months old). When I am writing this letter Mehrab, you can barely recognize the English alphabet and Mashrafi can talk with gesture only. I hope that one day both of you can read this letter.
In this first letter, I will teach you the philosophy of mine about the God and religion. By birth you are enjoying to have an Islamic name, without the knowledge of Islam. I hope over the years you will learn about the Islamic culture from our family. Probably you are practicing the Ayath (Dua, arabic worlds of prayer) that I am teaching now everyday at night when we are going to bed- “La ilaha illallah muhammadur rasulullah“. This is the main pillar of our religious Islam, known as Kalima Tayyiba. Before I go further about it, I like to share with you what I understand by the word “religion”.
When I was in Bangladesh, I practiced the Islamic as my religion, worship of Allah. When I moved to Japan with another three friends of mine from Bangladesh, I gradually understand and felt the real meaning of “religion”. I discovered a new dimension of religious. When I was in Bangladesh, to me Islam was composite of few rules in my personal and social life. Around October 1994, I started my new education life in Tokyo. First six months I was busy to learn the Japanese language. Since I am new in Japan, it was a new country with new culture and new peoples. I was getting many obstacles with new things in my daily life. It was very difficult for me to judge which was good and which was bad. I found that my religion “Islam”, was a very good guidebook to judge a new thing. Here is an example. Drinking alcohol in Japan is very common and it is a part of their social life. But when I judge it with my religion, Islam, I found that it is prohibited by Islam. I did not drink Alcohol. Quran and Hadith was a very good reference to evaluate all the new things and questions. So Islam was a guideline for me.
Dear son, when you will feel lonely and face new problems that you cannot judge by yourselves, please read the Quran and Hadith. You will get an answer from Islam. If you do not get any quick answer, please contact with a knowledgeable person who has good knowledge in Islam. Your Muslim community where you will live, can give you an answer. If you get an answer from someone, please verify what he told you. The Quran and Hadith is a good reference and you can verify very easily. When I spent time in Tokyo, beside my regular study I read a lot of religious books. I was very fortunate that I got few Islamic scholars in the dormitory of Komaba where I live. I have found that Islam is a easy way that you can rely and will not mislead. So my dear son, grab the Islam strongly. Learn about it, follow what is told by Islam. Another good characteristic of Islam, that I found over the years is, it covers all the aspect of our life: social, economical, carrier, education and all other aspects.
I think, you may face some doubts also. The people around you will mislead you with good references that there is no God. All the things in this world has been created automatically and by evolution process (a theory of Dirwin). Here is my answer regarding existence of God. Over the years, in my scientific carrier, I have learned that there should be a God. There should be a “someone”- a master planner who designed and made this universe. Here is a very simple example that you can try. Please open a biology book on your body, cell or living tissue. If you are in the age of undergraduate student you can read the Geoffrey Cooper’s “The Cell” and if you are a school student can read the “Molecular and Cell Biology For Dummies”. When you will find the mechanism of our body or living things, I believe that you will amazed how well organized a cell is. Over the millions and billions of years, the living things are surviving on earth without any error. The DNA is the blue print of all the living things. When I working for a project on DNA, I learned about this amazing world of DNA. I completely throw the concept of Dirwin in trash. In my scientific carrier, I developed more strong depth of believing in God. I really stuck and surprised to find that God made this world with very complex things but very simple. I am sure in your time, man will understand many things about DNA. Of course God give us diseases and errors in his code but I believe that it has a reason too. Diseases and errors are very necessary to make the whole system to be bulletproof! If you carefully read a biology book you will have no doubt that there is a master planer, a God. In Islam we believe that is “Allah”, the creator of this Universe. In Kalima Tayyiba the first part is “La Ilaha Illallah” means There is no deity except Allah.
So the conclusion of this letter is, follow the Islam. Try to understand it by reading Quran and Hadith and practice it in your daily life. If you face any questions, follow the rules of Islam.

Since I am not a regular writer at this blog. This blog is turning to a dead blog.
Then I though to start a new thing. I though to write few letters addressing to Mehrab and Mashrafi who are my two sons. One day when they will be adult, they can read it and learn from my life what I wrote at here. So I have decided to write some experience that might be valuable for them. That I learned from my life over the years. I will try to write whenever I have some spare times. But I am afraid I will be too busy with my daily works. Those who know personally, know that how my tasks list, todo lists, projects list occupied my daily life. Now here a new journey will start. A journey where I will write something for my future generations. Although usually I write in Bangla, I though I should write in English to really put my experience over the time.
Why I am starting it?Long before, I was spending some times in a hospital bed at Rajshahi Cadet College (Rajshahi, Bangladesh- where I received my college education) for few weeks around 1990. At that time I read a book of Jawaharlal Nehru, where he wrote few letters to his daughter – Indira Gandhi. I can not recall the details of the book, but really enjoyed that book. Now I though to write similar type of thing. Not like a famous person like Nehru, a very ordinary person who want to transfer his experience to his future generation.
